How do I update my military ID card with my new rank?

I was recently promoted to E-5 in the National Guard. I want to get a new ID. What do I need to take to have my card updated? Will an LES work?

1. You need to talk with your 1st Sgt. he can take care of it for you.
2. Your reserve or guard center should have a noncom or personnel officer who is responsible for such things. I went through all of the enlisted ranks in the Naval Reserve and never had an issue with my ID card. The local command took care of it in every case.
3. You need a copy of your promotion orders, they wouldn't take an LES before. You're unit should have a place where you can go get a new ID card. Ask them next drill and they will give you the location.
4. take your promotion letter to the MPF and they will update your card accordingly as it should be already updated in their DEERS system Congrats on the automatic 4 year E5 promotion
5. No your LES won't work. Take a copy of your orders in to HQ and they will issue a new id and update deers at the same time, as an E-5 you should know this so when your squad comes to you, you have these answers.
6. If you are getting paid right away they ID card place/deers should have you in the system for Date Of Rank.
