ID Badges

Has anybody obtained an ID Card while they currently had a Warrant in a different State?

All I want to get is a basic ID card and I have all the propr information to obtain this. I'm really worried that I won't be able to walk out of the DMV. I Just need the ID card for work. Again I'm in Florida over 3500 miles away from where my Misdemeanor orginated from.

1. When you go in, you will be placed on the wire and checked for wants and warrants. You need to fix Florida first.
2. they wont extradite for a misdemeanor.they would for a felony.i tried to get my license in indiana and i have a warrant in michigan.couldnt though because i have a unpaid ticket there.id go ahead and get your id.
3. lol It is highly unlikely that a State would even check for warrants. If they do and they found it the most that would happen would be that they contact the State where the warrant was issued and ask them if they want to come get you. If they say NO then your free. NO state in the US will come get you for a warrant UNLESS it is for Family court and ONLY if you are within 350 miles radius of the State issuing the warrant. So Basically you are ok. The most that would happen would be a minor inconvenience of time if the police are called.
