Where can I find an image of a medical ID badge from the TV show ER? I am looking for a Chicago County General Hospital medical ID badge from one of the cast of ER (it doesn't matter who). There was an auction for George Clooney's, but I can't find the image anywhere.

What is this name for this cord reel that came with my ID badge? So at work when I got my ID Badge it came attached to this reel that automatically retracts a nylon cord. By design it keeps my badge attached to my pant waist but allows me to pull the ID up to a security sensor so I can access certain areas and then retract the cord returning the card to my waist. What are these little devices called?

Do you put stickers and buttons on your work ID badge? Some of my co-workers have stickers, buttons or other bits of trivia on their ID holders. Are you the decorative, festive type person with your ID badge, or are you a low-profile kind of worker? I have seen everything from "I voted" to "I donated blood" to "United Way" on their work IDs... I was considering adding a sticker about "if it's after 5:00 wake me or check my pulse" but thought the higher-ups might not like it.

I know you get to keep your gun, as far as a badge or something too show you can carry your gun and still be active what do you get after you retire. Forced maternity leave and now why must I give my NHS ID badge back whilst on maternity leave? I feel like throughout my pregnancy my manager has been being awkward towards me due to me having to take time out of my full time job to attend antenatal appointments as I have had several problems throughout my pregnancy and had to go more frequently. I had planned to finish mat leave in mid may and take my annual leave entitlement for the year prior to my mat leave (as it would have passed into the next financial year otherwise. Then the day before my A L was due to start, the manager said that there was a change of plan and that they "were not obliged" to let me take my A L and that I would either have to work up to mid may (which I didn't feel fit to do)or take my mat leave effective immediately. I felt I had no choice but to take my leave immediately as it was easter hols at school and I had not arranged childcare so would have been stuck short notice. I started maternity leave last week and I got a letter today from my NHS workplace asking me to return my uniforms and trust ID badge. Last time I was on maternity leave I did not have to do this so I was confused about why they want it back so I contacted human resources who said they were also confused about why the manager at my department wants it back. I would prefer to keep hold of my badge to take advantage of NHS discounts at shops/ gyms etc where you are required to show the badge, so I called my manager to ask if I could just keep hold of it until I return from maternity leave for these reasons as I was under the impression that when on mat leave I am still classed as an employee. The manager requested I bring the uniform and badge back as soon as possible and that I couldn't keep hold of them. This is a pain as I also live about an hour away from my work and last week sold my car so have no easy transport to return them. Do you think I should just agree then "forget" to drop them by or would I get in trouble? My husband thinks that they are being a bit awkward and I should get legal advice. Any advice? Its really stressing me out and Im worried for returning to work.

I work for the government (school district), they only charge $5 to replace it,,, My boyfriend works at the LAX airport, he lost it badge today, and they fined him $100 for that!!!! What is up with that????????? This is so gaytarded!!!!! He reported to the security office immediately and it was deactivated. Therefore, whoever got his badge and can't go anywhere!!! I still think that LAX is stupid, they pay those counter people $11.50 per hour and employee have to pay $50 for their own parking every month, this is the worst working place I ever heard of!!!! They give you health benefit and stuffs, but if you choose to take it, they will deduct another dollar something per hour from your checkpay, meaning that you barely make $10 per hour. They required worker to dress in suits and act so professionally, but they treat them as bad as minimum wage worker!!!!

I said to him that this is wrong and it is bullshi* he then smiles and says have a good day. In my proffesion I work with the police in investigating Methlabs, terrorist attacks, ect I have the utmost respect for them, I would never in a thousand years flip a policeman the finger. How can they take advantage of us when they have a bad day? A Note: the traffic act in no way says that you can't flip someone the bird.

Officers: How often do you use your badge off duty? I think the inside term is to "tin" right? The other day I was in grocery store and saw an old friend who is a cop. He used the quick checkout line and the the cashier asked to see his ID, and he very nonchalantly flashed his badge. Do you guys do this often off duty, no matter the situation? He was actually with his wife and young child, and they are a relatively young couple. But the wife seemed to find it funny. (The reason he used the badge was because it was a self checkout machine and he was purchasing alchohol, a cashier asked for ID and he simple showed his badge).
